They are fairly easy to keep and are a beginner plant. The Rotundifolia has a moderate growth rate and enjoys Iron supplementation to fill it's color. Check out the "Red" variant!
AS OF 2.16.20 FULLY UNDERWATER CONVERTED AND AWESOME
We give it a 2 on a difficulty scale from 1 to 10!
Care Scale of 1-10:
2. Rotala is included in our BEGINNER PLANTED AQUARIUM COMBO PACKAGE for a reason! It's easy!
My experience with Rotala is that it is undemanding of high light, but will grow more compact in higher light. Rotala rotundifolia will be a bit more leggy in lower light.
Where to Plant:
Anywhere from Foreground to background depending on how well you keep it, the size of your tank, and can easily be trimmed if it becomes too tall, but will never be as tall as a Hygro nachimale for example
Plants are in great shape and good sized the 20 degree temps on delivery day didn't seen to faze them !!!
These arrived looking great and still wet. I ordered 2 bundles but easily have at least 80 stems. They are doing great at filling a large empty space in my tank. I am very happy with this purchase.
Nice healthy looking plants
This plant was packaged well and was beautiful when I received it. It has been planted in my tank and is even more beautiful! I have not had any melting yet. I was able to separate the stems on 1 purchased bunch and plant these in 4 groupings in my tank!
The Rotala Rotundifolia bunches that I received from Dustin were so seductively alive and flourishing that I could have added them to my tossed salad, used them as a garnish, or created a crude skirt for ritual lovemaking. But I decided to put them in my aquarium instead, and they look marvelous! I highly recommend these plants!
