Red Tiger Lotus are an amazing plant that I really just got into not all that long ago. I love the big red leaves and the unique shape of the plant. As with most red plants, with Red Tiger Lotus, you are going to want to make sure that they have substantial nutrients in their substrate. The better the substrate the better the Red Tiger Lotus will grow. I wouldn't advise trying to keep a Red Tiger Lotus without Dirt or some really substantial root fertilizer.
They say to cut it back so it grows better. I have never personally done this, but it isn't a bad idea for how to care for a red tiger lotus. The Red Tiger Lotus is from west Africa and just looks great as a contrast in you planted aquarium tank. You get so much of an interesting plant with such a great red that I really love this plant.
Red Tiger Lotus is totally a top ten favorite plant of mine.
WARNING- The bulb might come away from the plant. It will be ok and you might get a SECOND PLANT from the bulb. Just plant the newly free plant.
NOTE: These plants are soo phat that I hand wrap them in wet paper so that they are delivered perfectly to you.
This plant might lose a leaf or two in shipping as they are so thin, but they grow back quickly.

I bought floating plants and received this as a GWP and I absolutely love it! My betta loves to take naps and observe his kingdom from a top the leaves. Like the floaters, I’ve had to trim off leaves on this as well. I couldn’t get it to stay in the substrate initially so I put a piece of driftwood over it to hold it down. It has since grown roots that hold it in place.
Can’t believe how well this is growing, literally one giant leaf a week since it was planted 25 days ago
Huge plant! Very healthy! I recommend the ice pack because it arrived on a very warm day, but really worth the money.
The red tiger lotus looks amazing when it arrived and on time. Placed in fish tank for a couple days. I now have it planted. My Pygmy corydoras love sitting on the leaves. Definitely will order again. Im a repeat costumer and been very happy with everything they have sent me. Thank you so much.
I am super impressed with how gigantic my medium sized red lotus is! Just arrived and already to the top of my 30 gallon! My parrot fish love it!
