These have been underwater in a big deep basin for 2.5-3 weeks and should transition perfect to your aquarium.

These are NICE Underwater grown plants with decent roots. The tops have the split leaf underwater growth, there are still some leaves with the above water more oval leaves lower.

They are about 6-7 inches tall. They are a NITRATE SPONGE!

XL POTTED Water Wisteria photos are labeled "XL POTTED"

Water Wisteria is simply an AWESOME beginner plant. Water Wisteria AKA Hygrophila difformis, can take anything you can throw at it.

True to it's latin name, difformis means to be irregularly or unevenly or differently formed. This hygrophila's foliage is ruffled and unique, adding a striking texture to your tank.

Wisteria one of those plants that when you get it going it will grow like a weed. Try it out while you are a rookie and see. Water Wisteria does well in a newly planted tank.

I like to float it personally as it gets more light and send off some really great long flowing roots. Fish love hiding and breeding in Water Wisteria's roots.

In an order you get 4-6 nice bushy stems of it, often with great roots already going.

The stems are beefy as if they have been growing in down in dirt. This picture doesn't do this great plant justice... This is one of our best selling plants for a reason. We grow them in a 90 gallon aquarium in the greenhouse which gets FULL morning sun.  The plants love this and grow like crazy for us...then on to you.

NOTE: While Water Wisteria is one of our best selling aquarium plants, we do stock other forms of Hygrophila as well. (Many of our Hygrophila's are just as hardy)eck out our HARDY Hygrophila Cordata RED,

Or Hygrophila Cherry Leaf, or Hygrophila Compact

Care Scale of 1-10: ( 1- it can grow in your toilet- 10 being nearly impossible)

Wisteria is a 1.5 (only because it might lose a few leaves in shipping)

Lighting:

Can handle super low lighting, grows faster in high light

Where to Plant:

Background or float it.

Healthy plant

The quick delivery and excellent packaging was very impressive. Using the plant as a floater so the fry can hide from the parents.

Snails are eating it

I'm afraid the snails are eating the leaves! The guppies love hiding in the roots but if there is a plant snails won't eat I need to try that one.

First order

Very generous sized plant, like at least three times the size of the local stores! Thank you!!

Great plants!

Came in healthy and good size. This stuff grows like crazy in my medium lighted tank with no CO2! Very easy plant and you’ll end up being able to trim it and place in other tanks!

Came in a little scraggly

Put it in as soon as it got here, hoping it comes back, looked a little faded and scraggly, never had a problem on other plants
