Mayaca Sellowiniana
Mayaca Sellowiniana is amazing plant! It's star like appearance from above is breath-taking! LOOK AT THE SECOND PHOTO. Nice fluffy MEGA EASY PLANT.
These can handle low light NO PROBLEM. This is 100% a beginner plant. We use this in many of our "Can't Kill It" combos for a reason. It is hard to kill.
This plant will settle in and become a FAST grower. Under higher light it will get redish tips
Mayaca Selowiniana give you that "Fluffy/ feathery" look. I has a unique soft look to it from its fine leaves. Cichlids or plant eating fish will make short work of these leaves...
This plant would be great with any kind of shrimp you have as it would simply be awesome to watch something climbing on it. We use this plant for baby guppies as well as it provides excellent cover for them.
This plant makes a great contrast plant along side grassy plants like Val or bit leafy background plants like Ludwigia.
Care Scale of 1-10:
This plant is a 1.5 Mega easy just needs some sort of light on it

I ordered this on a whim because I liked the color so much and it did not disappoint! It’s a vibrant green and my fish and shrimp love the soft texture. It adds a great contrast to the other plants in our tank. My order came faster than expected and I will definitely be back for more!
Arrived in great shape, nice and bushy. hoping thet adjust to my 40g long planted take
Plants arrived in great condition and look great in my tank. No reddish top yet but hopefully with time. Love the feathery leaves!!
I love my plants they look so good in my 55 gallon Aquarium! Will definitely buy more!
Boy was I shocked at how beautiful this was! One of my favorites, and I cannot wait to get more for my bigger tank! I had an algae outbreak in my shrimp tank and took all my hornwort out and put this one in. I just love it! I had read another review about the needles falling, but it’s expected just a short wort sometimes does. This came in a bit beat up from the Oklahoma heat, but it gained it color next day which is when I’m writing this comment. Absolutely love it. Perfect for my shrimp tank as one of them is about to give birth to baby shrimp.
