They are just starting to show the pink and coloration from green. ROOTED AND HEALTHY
It releases these gorgeous burgundy leaves from its tops that ruffle like Parawitota! It doesn't need a lot of light nor does it need heavy Co2 doses! This plant will run in most peoples tank really easily! This Hygrophila loves to shoot out side shoots and makes it easy to watch it flourish!
We have enjoyed watching this plant easily convert to below water growth with these almost "pom pom" like leaves along the stem.
ON a scale from 1 to 10 I rate this 3 on hard to keep scale! These plants were started above water but are now well on their way to growing well under water in your aquarium!
Outer leaves will melt in your tank and come back twice as hard!

But this time the weather did it for me. The box was packed well and undamaged, and at first glance the plants looked ok, but they were frozen solid. My fault for ordering during the coldest part of the year. I thawed 'em out, picked off as many snails as I could, and planted them anyway hoping they'd come back. The next day they looked like the cat I buried in the backyard a few years ago. Everything but the A. nana petite melted like cheese whiz in the microwave. As of today the anubias (I think it's anubias, it isn't dark and shiny like the pics) is shedding leaves like crazy and has these weird holes so I don't expect it to make it either. I guess my second foray into plant keeping has come to an end. But I'm not going back to plastic plants. I'm just going to plant $100 bills instead.
