Water Wisteria is simply an AWESOME beginner plant. Water Wisteria AKA Hygrophila difformis, can take anything you can throw at it.
True to it's latin name, difformis means to be irregularly or unevenly or differently formed. This hygrophila's foliage is ruffled and unique, adding a striking texture to your tank.
Wisteria one of those plants that when you get it going it will grow like a weed. Try it out while you are a rookie and see. Water Wisteria does well in a newly planted tank.
I like to float it personally as it gets more light and send off some really great long flowing roots. Fish love hiding and breeding in Water Wisteria's roots.
In an order you get 4-6 nice bushy stems of it, often with great roots already going.
The stems are beefy as if they have been growing in down in dirt. This picture doesn't do this great plant justice... This is one of our best selling plants for a reason. We grow them in a 90 gallon aquarium in the greenhouse which gets FULL morning sun. The plants love this and grow like crazy for us...then on to you.

Are you new to planted tanks? Are you looking to quickly fill in your tank in a matter of weeks? Do you find trimming a plant and replanting the clippings enjoyable? Then water wisteria is for you! I didn’t know what to expect from shipping a plant but here I am with lush hardy water wisteria! I’ve seen this plant before but the bundle I received had many individual dark vibrant green stems that were about half as thick as my pinky! Plenty of started roots to make planting a breeze! Dustin’s Fishtanks is my go to spot from now on for plants! My ONLY complaint is that heating packs are not advertised in your face upon checkout. They are a must if you live in cooler or cold weather (like below 50°). But as far as quality of product I cannot remove a star as that would be contradicting how incredible the level of plants I received were! I’d give more stars if I could to get across how awe struck I was upon receiving my order. I was not expecting such healthy looking plants from a cardboard box that have been in the dark for 3 days and handled by shipping folks and driven over thousands of bumps along the way. If your looking to start the aquatic plant hobby this is the place to do it!
This came in with alot of stems. I planted them and withing a few days growth already!
I had anticipated the stems being a bit taller than they actually were but it was in great condition and should hopefully grow quickly!
