Hygrophila corymbosa 'Parawitota.'

This plant is my second favorite kind of Hygrophila, second- only behind, Hygrophila cordata "RED"or Hygro Compacts.

This plant is rough and rugged but still has a sweet looking stem and leaves. This is a stout little plant.

I have watched this plant send off new growth in a very short amount of time.  I recommend Hygrophila corymbosa 'Parawitota' to anyone needing a unique contrast to their background or mid ground.

Under higher light this plant will even give you a nice vain of red at the top of it. (We have seen it get a redish hue to the top of it)

While I don't know your fish. If you can get this thing pinned down in the gravel I don't think cichlids would be able to mess with it much as it has such strong leaves and stems

Grab some of this super hardy Hygrophila corymbosa 'Parawitota.

This plant can handle LOWER LIGHTING.

It likes a good substrate but can grow in just gravel.

CO2 is not required and Cichlids have a hard time beating it up :)

Hardy AF!

Okay when the advertisement says the plants are hardy- that is a valid claim. I ordered multiple plants (all lived) and because of snow storm the shipping was on hold. When it shipped they were packaged perfect BUT they were still frozen SOLID a brick of ice! FROZEN SOLID!! - I unwrapped them and slowly “defrosted” them in coldish water and eventually put in a bucket for a couple days. I lost some of each plant and leaves of course BUT the amount you get plus how they are packaged I was able to plant in tanks because the roots and stems were solid! Thank goodness they care about their plants and held off shipping when I ordered because I think they would have been worse. I will only order from dustinsfishtanks after experiencing this!!
