The goal of the Standard Plant Combo is to get you some success with classic, hardy plants that will keep you wanting more out of your tank. This combo is good for a 29 to 55 gallon tank.
We will send a good mix of fore, mid and background plants with a mix of color. An example would be: leopard val, dwarf sag, a sword, ludiwigias, hygros, rotalas and mayacas. I had expected a small amount since it says up to 55 gallons. The amount and quality of plants they sent to me was amazing they filled up my 95 gallon nicely. Here is a before and after pic of the tank it's a bit cloudy due to the substrate being new and the planting."

This was my first time ordering from him I been watching his videos for some time now and just pulled the trigger on it at the last min ever other plant that I had gotten from the pet store would be dead with in days so I figured I would give this a try and so far me and my wife are vary happy with the plant they where package vary well lots a different types came the colors where a great mix to my tank only one plant came completely dead but what do you really think is going to happen when they get shipped in the mail I still put it in my tank to see if it would come back but it didn’t we are will be placing other order soon as i want to fill the tanks a bit more so my shrimp have a place to hide out at
After reading reviews, I decided I’ll try DFT for my next plants. Upgrading from a 10 to 55 gal means more plants!!! The plants came quickly, with great root systems, and looking very healthy. Now it’s time to add more plants to my 10 gal and small tank. Will be ordering more in the future.
Excellent plant selection. Filled my 55 gallon tank perfectly. Love the variety and colors. It was hot couple days but plants arrived alive. Nobody mentioned the cool rocks that come with the plants!
The plants arrived in good condition, considering I ordered them in the horrible heat of July summer. The selection Dustin’s chose are beautiful, especially the reds. It was perfect for my 28 gallon hex tank. I even had some extras that I added to my other tanks, which is always nice! I’m so excited to get this tank cycled and add fish into their new home!
I ordered the $99 plant bundle from Dustin. All the plants were very healthy and well packaged. It was very hot during shipment and the tiny ice pack was completely melted and the plants were very warm. This is why I rated 4stars instead of 5. All of the plants survived. I immediately placed them in my tank to cool off and it worked well. This is my newly planted 55 gallon.
