This is a Rugged little beast!!! GET SOME!
This plant is my second favorite kind of Hygrophila, second- only behind, Hygrophila cordata "RED"or Hygro Compacts.
This plant is rough and rugged but still has a sweet looking stem and leaves. This is a stout little plant.
I have watched this plant send off new growth in a very short amount of time. I recommend Hygrophila corymbosa 'Parawitota' to anyone needing a unique contrast to their background or mid ground.
Under higher light this plant will even give you a nice vain of red at the top of it. (We have seen it get a redish hue to the top of it)
While I don't know your fish. If you can get this thing pinned down in the gravel I don't think cichlids would be able to mess with it much as it has such strong leaves and stems
Grab some of this super hardy Hygrophila corymbosa 'Parawitota.
This plant can handle LOWER LIGHTING.
It likes a good substrate but can grow in just gravel.
CO2 is not required and Cichlids have a hard time beating it up :)

Rugged little stems with nice leaves that fluff up in the tank!
Packing was great (although was shocked to see an ice pack in with plants ordered🤔). Carefully removed the cotton/rubber band from roots - fingers crossed the roots remaining on plant will flourish.
