Hygrophila Compact is an EASY low growing aquarium plant

AS OF 2.5.25 these are near perfect. READ OUR REVIEWS

They are just starting to show the pink and coloration from green. ROOTED AND HEALTHY

It releases these gorgeous burgundy leaves from its tops that ruffle like Parawitota! It doesn't need a lot of light nor does it need heavy Co2 doses! This plant will run in most peoples tank really easily! This Hygrophila loves to shoot out side shoots and makes it easy to watch it flourish!

We have enjoyed watching this plant easily convert to below water growth with these almost "pom pom" like leaves along the stem.

ON a scale from 1 to 10 I rate this 3 on hard to keep scale! These plants were started above water but are now well on their way to growing well under water in your aquarium!

Outer leaves will melt in your tank and come back twice as hard!

Just ok

Recieved mine yesterday, shipping was quick. Plants did not have any roots so hard to keep them in the gravel the plant looks nice but at this moment that is all I can say about it. Will see if they root. The description says well rooted, well mine were not, not any roots.

I have bought many plants from Dustins. I ordered 2 of these one came in great shape, and the other was pretty much just mush once it got to me. Other than one being pretty much DOA, the one that survived the shipping is doing great.

More than I expected

Literally. Invoice said "1"; 2 in package. Which subdivided into 7 rooted stalks. I planted them in a cluster the front corner of my tank, roots pushed down into the substrate. [major thanks to our son who helped with two extra hands, the siphon bucket, and encouragement]. That was two days ago. Today, they're erect, apparently alive (no dropped leaves), and my fish have accepted them as an acceptable replacement for the plastic plant.
Whether you use this chain-of-consciousness review is up to you. I am not an expert; barely experienced; mostly seat-of-pants. I'm hoping these will establish themselves as healthy residents. My veins and baby tetras use them for hiding places from their larger cousins. The full sun exposure should be a plus. Can't wait to see red foliage!
