These plants are 4-6 inches or taller. Not full grown but well on the way. Madagascar Lace plants are great for the more advanced hobbyist. We are proud to be offering such a unique plant as the Madagascar lace plant to you. The leaves with the natural holes in them are a striking plant in any aquarium.

Madagascar Lace Plants do take a little bit more skill to keep and require an excellent substrate to thrive. We can not recommend or advise purchasing a Madagascar Lace plant without dirt as your lower substrate. This plant needs lots of nutrients readily available at its roots, so extra precautions should be taken to make this happen. Once established in a tank with a great substrate, the Madagascar Lace Plant will thrive. I have had this plant for over 2 years now and it has taken over 1/2 of my 75 gallon tank. You have to be careful to make sure it doesn't over shadow plants under it.

I have kept Crypts and Anubias under it, no problem. When I ran CO2 if produced a white flower above my waterline which was killer. The Madagascar Lace plant is one you have to try and I throw it in with planted tank combos on occasion. I like it so much that I am working on making a T-Shirt with one up the side of it. ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL

I've ordered from Dustin multiple times now, every single plant I have in my tank has come from him. They all arrive in beautiful condition, and I will never order from anyone else ever again!!!

Dustin's is the best!!!

This is the 2nd order that I received from Dustin's and the plants arrived in pristine condition. The hygrophila "stricta" (2 bunches) and the Madagascar lace leaf (with 6 small leaves) are doing amazing. The plants arrived in an insulated envelope with a heat pack for extra protection from the cold weather (southeastern Pennsylvania). After planting, I have yet to see any melting of leaves from any of the plants. As I said earlier, this was my 2nd order. Last July 4th they had the bonus 5 piece sale which I couldn't pass up on. UPS, on the other hand, lost the package several times over the course of almost a week during one of the hottest heat waves in recent history. When they arrived, they were mostly mush. I can't fault Dustin's as they were all as well packaged as my recent order with a cooling pack. Using a laser thermometer, the inside of the box read 102°F. I didn't complain to Dustin's because they did all they promised. As a board member of our local aquarium club, I highly recommend Dustin's to all our members.

I've been wanting this plant for awhile. Saw that Dustin's had it and put in my order. I got three smaller plants, but all look very healthy with leaves intact. (At least for now. We'll see how they acclimate.) I put them in tanks with substrate, so I'm hoping that they will settle in and do well for me. Looking forward to watching these grow and adding their beautiful presence to my tanks. Great job Dustin and Team!
