Ludwigia Big Leaf Dark

This is a FIRE LUDWIGIA right now. It is showing BEAUTIFUL UNDERWATER GROWTH. Get yourself some now! 

I have to give my girl Falon some credit here. She has taken a liking to Ludwigias.  We are always trying out all kinds of different plants. Some work- some don't. Well she grabbed the above water grown stems of these great plants and basically hid them.

Fast forward a few weeks and HOLY COW- We have a nice big, robust, UNDERWATER GROWN Ludwigia Big Leaf Dark!   These are acting just like the classic Ludwigia Repens but seem to have the "Big Gene"  The are wow.

While these are a popping RED. If you run this plant under super low light my guess is that it would revert back to more of a green color. 

You could float these big boys if you wanted, but I would plant them in the back of your LARGE aquarium for a big old WOW factor.

We harvest and bind these in house. THESE ARE WOW. They are also limited so don't mess around. Not sure when we will have them back around after this... and if we do it is going to take them awhile to convert and grow out like these. GRAB ONE.

Care Scale of 1-10:

2 (grows better in good substrate or you can plant in plain gravel)

Lighting:

Grows fine in low light, but will give you a more light green and taller look. Under better lighting and higher iron will grow much more RED.
