Mayaca Vandelii is an awesome contrast plant in your aquarium
This plant is a slow grower but puts off beautiful small fine leaves and has a gorgeous star pattern its new growth provides.
The small, finer leaves make it a tad more demanding of light and nutrients.
If you are keeping plants like the foreground plant "Baby Tears" or other plants like Ludwigia...I would try this out.
I would rate the difficulty of this plant as a 3 or a 4 out of 10.
It needs some some moderate lighting and like all Mayacas it prefers an iron supplement to keep its green glow.
These plants are so nice that I ordered more. They say that they are a slow growing plant but mine have grown quite fast in only a few days.
This stuff looks great underwater and and survived shipping just fine. Awesome plant!
Dudes. This thing came 14" tall. I split up the stems and went straight across the background. Hoping to propagate this into my other tank as well.
I w never ordered plants from dustin fish tanks so I want sure what I would be getting! I was so supposed at how perfectly they where packed and came in ready for the tank. Someone took time to pack the right so I could receive amazing quality plants! They are very happy in my tank.
