Anubias Nana Petite ( Amazing Aquascaping Plant)
THESE MONSTERS ARE $8.95 (They are the BIG POTS)
Like Anubias but want the smaller version? Anubias Petite is there for you. Anubias Nana Petite is just like it sounds. It's a smaller, more petite version of Anubias. This variety isn't available as often as I would like it so if you want it- Grab it- because it won't last. NOTE: I have found that Anubias Nana Petite is slightly less hardy then the regular sized Anubias. It is still a hardy plants but probably due to it's smaller size- it isn't as rugged. The leaves on this plant are about half an inch and stay that way. Like most Anubias, it is a slow grower and will take a minute to attach to a driftwood or rock. Remember folks. You can plant the roots of Anubias down into the substrate but never the Rhizome.
Care Scale of 1-10: ( 1- it can grow in your toilet- 10 being nearly impossible)
Difficulty: I give Anubias Nana Petite a 2. It takes just a little more care light and nurturing to make sure this little guy makes his way to maturity. Enjoys harder water
Lighting: Prefers a Moderate to High light but handles the low light with that Hardy Anubias structure.
Happy to have come across Dustin's Fishtanks. I placed my order based on reviews....they matter. Shipping and communication were excellent and received beautiful and hardy specimens! I am one happy customer! Thank you
Beautiful plants, larger than expected.
I actually have zero complaints about the plant, came healthy and looked great! The only reason I took off a star is the paper that the plant is grown in. Its nearly impossible to remove from the roots without taking roots with it and, leaving some paper stuff behind to later find floating in the tank.
Based on the picture/advertisement I had a good idea of what to expect. But not only were the portions larger than expected, I also got an extra one for good measure, perhaps because of the weather. They were clean of algae and very deep, healthy green. I was very impressed. I have it tied to steel screen, which is buried in the substrate to let this grow along a shaded area of my 125. I am posting a pic of two portions that I put together near some driftwood.
First time ordering from Dustin. I'm always cautious ordering plants from a new place, I've had some mediocre experiences from other vendors. I was very pleased with the plants I got! The roots were amazing and they are all in great condition! This is one of the best if not the best order of plants I have gotten from a vendor, will definitely purchase from here again. I've gotten anubias nana petite from about 5 other places and this is by far the best I have gotten I was able to split this into 5 parts.
