Vallisneria Asiatica Biwaensis

The first step is admitting the problem right? I love Val and am on a quest to collect ALL of the varieties of Val. I have said it before and I'll sat it again. I would like val in my coffin if something happens to me.
Enter- The next Val. Val Asiatica Biwaensis.
What does it's name mean? I have no idea. Something to do with Asia. Here is what we do know. It's pretty killer.
This Val is like a mix between Spiral Val (or Val Torta/ corkscrew) with the spiral leaves crossed with GIANT Val.
Yep- it has a thicker and wider leaf to it with a neat spiral as well.
Because of the thicker leaves of this species of Vallisneria, it will take tad longer to grow back than a thin variety if they melt back.

Just received this plants today and they are beautiful, very satisfied, but they forgot to send my order of Java ferns and I sent a email for them to resend them but never herd back so now I don’t know what to do because I’m needing them now to finish all my scape.
The order for 1 netted 4 healthy looking stalks about 8 -9 inches tall and with decent roots. I trimmed away a few wilting strands and planted them the same day. Everything looking good so far and I am satisfied that I got a fair deal. Not the first time I have purchased from Dustin and have never been disappointed.
I think it's salvageable but it wasn't super healthy
This one wasn't Dustin's best effort. It arrived with a lot of brown leaves and some leaves that were completely dead. I removed the worst ones and trimmed a few others. When I removed the rock wool, I saw roots that appeared to be healthy so, the plant will probably do fine after this initial setback.
