Like Anubias but want the smaller version? Anubias Petite is there for you. Anubias Nana Petite is just like it sounds. It's a smaller, more petite version of Anubias. This variety isn't available as often as I would like it so if you want it- Grab it- because it won't last. NOTE: I have found that Anubias Nana Petite is slightly less hardy then the regular sized Anubias. It is still a hardy plants but probably due to it's smaller size- it isn't as rugged. The leaves on this plant are about half an inch and stay that way. Like most Anubias, it is a slow grower and will take a minute to attach to a driftwood or rock. Remember folks. You can plant the roots of Anubias down into the substrate but never the Rhizome.

NOTE: Photos labeled "XL BARE ROOT" is what we are currently selling when you purchase the XL BARE ROOT variety.

Care Scale of 1-10: ( 1- it can grow in your toilet- 10 being nearly impossible)

Difficulty: I give Anubias Nana Petite a 2. It takes just a little more care light and nurturing to make sure this little guy makes his way to maturity. Enjoys harder water. (Don't over think this)

Lighting: Prefers a Moderate to High light but handles the low light with that Hardy Anubias structure.

Don't forget to grab our Growth Juice and Iron Supplements. (Anubias likes above average amounts of iron :)

"Great plant and amazing plant volume! Shipping was pretty quick and packaged well. The plants are in great shape and they are overflowing in the pot. I split some of them by carefully seperating mature risom and got 4 parts on some pots."

Nana Petite

The Anubias plants came in perfectly healthy, they took a trip all the way to Vegas, and they still looked strong! The outside temps were in the tripple digits, and I was very hesistant on making the order, but I was surprised that it made perfectly fine. The plants were packed very well with an ice pack, when I received the plants the ice pack was done, but the inside of the package was fine for the plants. The plants was wrapped in heavy paper, then heat sealed in a bag, then placed in an insulation bag, then in a box. Very well thought out in shipping and handling! Very impressed, will order more plants when I get the itch! Thank you Dustin & Crew!

Perfect little transition plant

Placed upfront between rock and driftwood to soften the transition and add a pop of green.

Disappointed

I have heard a lot of good things about this company, read reviews, and decided to try my first order during a recent sale. Unfortunately, I was disappointed in what I received. Anubias are extremely well known for slow growth, so I at least expected to receive plants like what were pictured in the sale listing, which was separate from this listing and seems to gave since been removed. Instead, what I received was two plants so small they looked like clippings with only a few leaves. The third plant was the only decent sized one and the rhizome broke apart during unpacking, making more super tiny plants. In the end, what I had was not worth the time it would have taken to attach them to anything in my tank. I understand they were sale items, but should have at the very least been equal to what was advertised. At this point, I am not sure whether I will bother ordering a larger order since a small one was not completed accordingly.
