Want a fast growing, unique looking plant that will help filter your water? Check out Water Hyacinth. This stuff grows like crazy. In fact, it grows so quickly that it is considered an invasive species in WA, WI, IN, and Florida. What I like about it is that it also looks pretty crazy too. It has a different looking little bubble that grows above it along with a spoon like leaf on top of that.

If your pond needs some fast floating cover, water hyacinth is your answer. You get one big 7-9 inch clump of it per order.

ALSO NOTE: THIS SPECIES IS INVASIVE IN MANY STATES, DO NOT INTRODUCE TO ANY NATIVE WATERWAYS. TANK ON!

Beautiful black roots

I ordered this for my African Dwarf Frog tank because they love floaters but the tiny ones are a pain to work around when cleaning the tank. This water hyacinth was the perfect size for my 20 gallon. It has very long fluffy roots and my frogs love to hide in them. The frogs have quickly decided this is the new favorite spot.

These are HUGE!!

I thought they would be smaller, but I'm going to try them in my 30 gallon aquarium tonight. Worst case my wife will get the backyard water garden she's been wanting. :-)

The root system!

I always love the root system on this plant! I have the Water Haycinth in with my baby guppies and with the Medeka ponds and they absolutely love it! This is my second time ordering from them and they always ship and turnout beautifully!

Somehow hard to geow

Didn't have success with this in my 10 gallon tank. Have a fluval plant 3.0 for light and used Dustin growth juice. It looked great at first but died after a couple weeks. At first signs of dying I was directed to try to keep it outside in direct sunlight but sadly that didn't do the trick
