We have a nice patch of these that were hidden and growing like mad. NOW IS THE TIME TO GRAB THIS HARDY RED PLANT. (Nice thick durable stems too!)

Ammania Gracilis is a hardy red aquarium plant. It's leaves are more wavy than other red plants. It also has a relatively thicker stem. Ammania will like a hard cut once it is growing taller and can be replanted down in the substrate as a new plant.

NOTE:  You will get 4 or more NICE thick stems in a bunch of FULLY CONVERTED AWESOME PLANT.  GIVE IT TIME. It will be WOW, but it is a slower converter as it has THICK strong stems.

What we are selling comes in a nice clump, but I recommend that you spread this plant out. Separate each stem and give it about a half of an inch space or more from the next stem to let it have some room to grow in. I would also recommend that you add some iron to your tank if you are looking to get more out of your RED in the Ammania Gracilis

Lighting: Needs moderate lighting to stay alive. The more lighting the better it will look.

Difficulty: I would rate Ammania a 2.5 on my 1-10 scale. 1 being it could grow in a toilet and 10 being impossible. It requires decent light much like Ludwigia or other red plants. Though it's a little more susceptible to melt due to a lack of light

Quantity: 6-7 stems

Poor condition

I orderd 3 red plants, someone put a ice pack in with them and it's not hot enough here to require one so that made things bad 2 of the plants came in poor condition one is not even red at all it's green it was so badly broken up and melting, the other stems very frail not in a bunch, broken pieces leafs melting, the 3rd plant might make it looks better than the others, I sent pic and email right away and they offered to replace one or give credit, they didn't say anything about the ice pack. These plants dont look lush like the pic's or videos, they look like left overs from bottom of the bin, per say. I'm not happy for what I spent and will not shop here again. Other customers get way better plants, I did not.

Ammania Gracilis - more stems than I expected but, not a lot of roots

I was pleasantly surprised by the bunch of stems I received. The stems are thicker than most and so are the leaves. It would have been nice if the stems had more roots but, I think they'll do just fine.

Plants came in, not acclimated to underwater growth, but they look healthy and ready to start growing. I’m already seeing fresh growth on the tips after just a couple of days.
