Like Most floating plants.... Red Root floaters grow like CRAZY. (Floating plants get MORE light than regular plants and because they are ABOVE the water line get WAY more CO2...ala Super fast growth) How fast do red root floaters grow? They grow so fast USDA did a study and found them able to grow in the wild in south Florida.
So yes- this is an EASY PLANT.
10-15 leaves is a portions. Portion size is the first photo with the ruler.
These are RED PLANTS for us as we use this thing called the sun. Under lower light conditions these plants will turn a more green look. The RED comes with high light.
NO CO2 so special anything needed BUT LIGHT.
NOTE: We do our best not to ship this with any other pest plants but you might get a piece of Azolla accidentally in with it. LOOK OVER your plants before you put them in your tank.

I’ve never ordered floating plants online or kept them in general so when they arrived I wasn’t expecting quite a few detached roots and dead leaves, but for the price still got plenty of good ones and can’t wait to see them grow!
I purchased 2 bunches of the red root floaters expecting maybe 6 small plants. What I received was awesome. I got more like 75 small plants as well as an unexpected bunch of ludwegia, 4 small Salvinia Minima, as well as 5 ramshorn snails of varying sizes. I’ve only gotten plants from box stores until now and was totally blown away by how many I got for what I paid. I’m sure some of the plants will die or melt from shipping to me(some were mildly crispy which I expected ordering in August). Will never buy plants from anywhere other than Dustin ever again!!!
I love the plants so much , very good quality and a good seller , giving 4 because forgot few plants but am getting more free. I like all the plants but i feel like theres never enough stems in each plant i buy but no complaints really.
I was amazed at *how many* of these came in a single order! The description says 10-15 but I think they were generous. These were delivered quickly and they were very healthy. My Betta loves the new addition; he has fun exploring all the dangling roots. The red is a great addition to the tank as well. I highly recommend these!
Came with a lot of roots. Was pleasantly surprised and my shrimp are loving them.
