Rotala Mexicana (LOOK CLOSE-it's phat)
Rotala Mexicana...Look closely at the blacker photos! The outta water shots don't do it justice. You can't see the contrast from the stem and the leaves. This plant pops.
This is a WICKED Rotala if you are looking for a fluffy leaf, two tone, background plant. Look no further. This plant is a show stopper with it's yellow leaves that come off of a bright red stem for an awesome contrast.
Don't mess around. Look at the review photos. This plant is banger with a killer contrast like no other plant.
This is a background plant that likes a little bit higher light, but if you are keeping any sort of rotalas with color on them, this is the next step for you.

These plants arrived in great shape and were super beautiful. Unfortunately they all have died off and I’m not sure why.

This is my 5th or 6th or from Dustin’s. They may not be the cheapest but, you get what you pay for. I have bought aquarium plants from the chain pet stores and from Amazon before discovering Dustin. Those plants look beautiful in the package and melt when you plant them. Dustin’s plants look amazing when you get them and stay looking amazing. Usually they send enough plants that I share them with all 4 of my aquariums. Once, they actually sent more than I needed. I only get plants from Dustin’s fish tanks now. The only problems I’ve had with his plants are problems I created. When your fish are sick(not caused by the plants), plants don’t like aquarium salt.
Plants arrived healthy and looking great. Needed some color to my tank and these rotala mexicana plants fit the need. Thanks to Whitney and Dustin for their expert advise on what to use….
Long, healthy, flourishing stems. Generous portion. Will see if this will grow in my water :-).
