Echinodorus tenellus Sword (POTTED)
NOTE: The photos labeled "AS OF 7/25/25" is exactly what the plant looks like right now. They are shooting off lots of underwater grown runners!
Echinodorus Tenellus is just like Dwarf Chain Sword, but larger!
This is a fun one. How about a short and narrow growing, needle leaf sword? A foreground swords? Yep.
Here's the deal, this plant is typically grown above water which is why you see all of spoon looking leaves on it. (Just like larger swords with the spoon leaf, a clear signal that they were grown above water.)
Now the fun part. These have been UNDERWATER for over 2 week as of 7.21. They are sending off runners exactly like an underwater plant should. They have these sweet narrow needle leaf runners coming off of them.
Sadly our photos at this time are about two weeks behind on this development.
You might see these offered as a tissue culture elsewhere. While they might look sweet in the plastic cup, it's gonna be awhile before they take off.....NOT THESE PLANTS. These are ready to ROLL IN YOUR AQUARIUM.
Grab this amazing Sword while we have it in stock!
Like all Swords, this is a heavy root feeder. So feed your plants where they eat with what they eat. Dustin's Dirt Packs
