Salvinia Minima
Check out it's awesome looking hairs. This plant has a sort of "Fuzz" or "hair" on it which we believe goldfish don't like the taste of.
This is a FAST Nitrate absorber. Like all floating plants, salvinia lives at the waters surface, ABOVE the water line where it has more access to readily available CO2 and light, making it "Work harder" for you. This is also a great plant to block out excess light and avoid algae with it's ability to absorb nutrients faster from the water column than underwater growing plants.
With each portion, you will receive a half of a dollar bill portion. (Cut a dollar bill in half. They will cover that.)
UPDATE: We have been told by Luke's Goldies that GOLDFISH DON'T LIKE THE TASTE OF THIS PLANT.

Plants arrived relatively healthy, even though ice pack was not cold. I first thought there was quite a bit of brown/rot, but it was actually roots. When rinsed and placed in my aquariums, about half of it was eaten by my koi/goldfish within an hour. First, they stripped the roots, then continued to the leaves. I managed to place barriers to protect what remained and it's growing well in safety. I'm working on a permanent way to protect it because it's an attractive plant, but don't rely on it being goldfish-proof.
Received in excellent condition and way more than I know what to do with! I received enough for 3 small tanks plus enough left over to start an outdoor pond! Except I don’t have an outdoor pond yet! Haha. Guess I better get a move on. Gives my small tanks a nice floater where my shrimplets like to hang out. I did have to thin out some browned plantlets but they’re doing very well and spreading. I would definitely buy again except I don’t think I need to. I got enough to add to 3 nano tanks plus enough to propagate in an outdoor pond. That’s my next project.
I’ve been really happy with the Salvinia minima I received. It arrived in good condition and has already started spreading well in my 20-gallon planted tank. I like the texture it adds to the surface, and the roots provide extra cover for shrimp and future fish. It also helps give the tank a more natural look without completely blocking the light. I do have to remove a few brown or damaged pieces when it arrived, but overall the plants have done very well and I would buy them again.

I was burning through hornwart in my goldfish tank, so I decided to try a different plant. This.....was......the.....answer! The goldfish are leaving it alone. The plants arrived as if they were fresh picked that day. Unbelievably nice quality!
