COLD is the game. Ice packs are king

We have found the ideal temps for most plants is between 40 and 75 degrees. Any more of less than that your could get into trouble.

IF YOU LIVE SOMEWHERE HOT (OVER 80 degrees Fahrenheit) YOU NEED an Ice Pack.

We call it an Ice Diaper. We take the time to WRAP YOUR ICE PACK and pad it in your box. We can't promise much after 3 day in the heat, but we are shipping this way down to Florida and across to California in the SUMMER HEAT.

People are so happy with their plant upon arrival with the "Ice Diapers" they have reached out to tell us so.

WE take great pride in our product, and getting it to you safely and healthy. If you live somewhere HOT and choose NOT to buy an Ice Pack we aren't going to be able to work with you much if there is a problem.

Ice Packs

Todays plants arrived in great condition in excessive heat ... I'd say that the ice packs are necessary/helpful in the summer heat ... even though the ice pack arrived warm, it kept the plants cool for long enough to get them here alive and well!

A bit wilted

With the heat, it’s no ones fault but the plants were a bit worse for wear. We got them right off the truck but even with the ice pack they were still warm. Some of the leaves were just melted. I can tell they were packed with care and you all did the best you could. The roots look healthy so…I stuck them in and we’ll see how they do! Hopefully they will bounce back! 😊

These didnt keep my plants cool they was definitely hot and so was the ice pack but the plants was healthy enough that they were fine

Ice pack melted and warm

I don't know if these ice packs are of any benefit. The ice pack and plants were all quite warm upon arrival. This isn't surprising as these ice packs last less than 24 hours and the package takes 2 days to arrive. I will say our plants were all alive and well. I don't think there is a good alternative that would not be price prohibitive. I will still purchase plants from Dustin's, quality plants!

Tiny Ice Packs

When my plants arrived, everything in the box was very warm. The ice pack was about the size of a 3 x 5 index card. It was completely melted and the plants were very warm. They need to increase the size or number of packs in warm weather. Other than this, everything was well packed and the plants are numerous and healthy.
