Vallisneria Torta (Hot Spiral VAL!)

5-6 stems per bunch, 5-7 inches tall. Short and beautiful
Heads up- Currently these are shorter. They are only about three or 4 inches tall but they are dense plugs. They have grown back but are not tall and wavy, yet. (it’s a Val - Val melts, and comes back ;)
The goal is to have EVERY Type of Vallisneria growing in our greenhouse. This Vallisneria Torta has brought us one step closer.
All Vallisneria makes a wonderful background plants. This Vallisneria is no exception!
Our experience has shown that the thicker the Val the slower the grower... or regrower.
(This can be seen with our big Daddy "Giant Jungle Val" (Vallisneria Americana) it grows thicker and takes a second longer to bounce back)
Vallisneria Torta is actually on the fast side for us with the speed in which it bounced back.
Like all Vallisnernia- it might melt back on you with a change in water conditions. Not to worry, as this will only bounce back stronger....
Vallisneria Torta looks exactly like our regular Val, but it has a unique twist to it, literally!
We have found that an early heavy amount of liquid fertilizer will get your Val rolling quickly with less melting.
If you see some rough tips, cut them about an inch below where they start.
On a scale of 1 to 10, 1 being can grow in your toilet. 10 being impossible. This would be a 1.5 only because it might melt back a tad.

I love this plant so much so I decided to add more and Dustin's Fish Tanks knows their plants!. I have ordered several times and i am always very satisfied with everything. This particular bunch is nicely established and a lot of tiny roots growing. It will melt back, but be patient it will come back!
Plants r NOT what was shown in pic!! What I received was yellow, dead melt downs that weren’t at all the spiral type I ordered!!! Total scammer!!! Trying to get a full refund c how that goes
I've gotten plants from Dustin's Fishtanks several times now and I'm happy every time. This order I got spiral val, small leaf macadra, and hornwort. The hornwort ball was so huge, I had to snip a piece off and use that because it would not fit in my tank! the spiral val is beautiful, hardy, and green. It's about 6 inches tall. The small leaf plant I'm really impressed with. Everything I read about it says that it's hard to take care of but it's been in my tank a week with no signs of melting or struggling.

I picked these up the other day when I ordered some other things and it adds such a nice contrast of shape to my background of water wisteria. Love it!
