Bacopa Salzmannii Purple
Bacopa Salzmannii Purple is a new plant to us. This plant has the rubbery feel of Bacopa Yellow Flame except instead of fire red, this plant is Bomb Purple!
It has the same thickness of stem as a Bacopa Yellow Flame but isn't as stout. The stem has a tiny bit of fluffy fuzz to it as well. We have found it takes a week or so to really get rolling, once settled in it grows pretty quickly for a plant of this kinda color.
It likes a tad more light but we have found it doesn't mind less light, it just wont settle in as fast.
Unlike Bacopa Yellow Flame, I wouldn't trust this plant with Cichlids, but I would try it with other larger fish.
One nice thing about all Bacopa is that they don't mind being planted in straight gravel, though they do better with a nutrient rich base. GET ONE They are a wild looking plant.

Been trying to find purple bacopa online for awhile, and Dustin is one of the few that had it. Got my 6 stems in two days, and in perfect condition. Stuff is gorgeous. 6 stars.
Last time I wanted to get this, it was sold out. This time around, I was able to get some. I received all healthy stems with no mushy spots toward the bottom or anything. There were some dead leaves, but that's expected, so it's no big deal. They arrived with a very rich, dark purple color. There weren't a lot of roots, but there were enough healthy roots that it won't be an issue, as in my experience, this type of plant grows roots very quickly. This is my second time ordering from here, and both times, everything was packed well, and all the plants were healthy. This is my new go-to company for plants!
Very pretty; they have held up well so far
Plants arrived healthy and with coloring that was exactly what was shown in the photos. Looking forward to seeing how they'll do in the tank. DFT never disappoints!
