Alternanthera Lilacina (Purple version of our best seller!)
This Alternanthera is almost as easy as our BEST SELLING Alternanthera. This Plant gives you MORE pinkish purple to it...
Like most plants, the fancier looking they get, the harder they are to keep. This Alternanthera is just slightly more demanding then our Best Selling Alteranthera Reineckii. But some things are worth a bit more work :)
We love the purplish hue and just a tad more light will make this plant a show stopper in your aquarium.
Minimal fertilization will help but is not required.
NOTE: Like all of our plants. These Alteranthera are grown under water and ready to POP in your aquarium. (While we don't have a ton of reviews on this plant- yet- read the other Alteranthera reviews... these are made to FLY in your tank)
Get them while have them. This plant is a 4 on a difficulty scale of 1 to 10.

The amount and condition of the plants is phenomenal! Just stunning, and because they were grown submerged, the melt is going to be very minimal for me. I use Dustin's layered substrate with a twist: red clay smeared all over the bottom, pond soil, and a couple of different aqua soils in different sizes and brands, just for options. I border the dirt with a thick layer of rock and cap it with 2 to 3 inches of fine sand. I had this plant in a low tech setup in the past and it did amazing. I just recently started using CO2, so I know I'm going to be blown away!
first order arrived with most of the plants melted which I contacted Dustins and they made it right and sent me the plants that were melted plus extras. really appreciate the m making it right and fixing the issue quickly.
This is super nice looking. I’m glad I decided to go with that. It’s gonna look killer in the background once it gets taller. What was sent was probably about 10 inches and that’s pretty big in itself but for my tank I needed to be quite a bit taller so I’m just waiting.
Nice pop of color for my tank. Perfect backdrop in your aquarium. Get one!
plants came in very healthy. but after a few, days they are starting to fade away. do not know why?
