Like Most floating plants.... Red Root floaters grow like CRAZY. (Floating plants get MORE light than regular plants and because they are ABOVE the water line get WAY more CO2...ala Super fast growth) How fast do red root floaters grow? They grow so fast USDA did a study and found them able to grow in the wild in south Florida.
So yes- this is an EASY PLANT.
10-15 leaves is a portions. Portion size is the first photo with the ruler.
These are RED PLANTS for us as we use this thing called the sun. Under lower light conditions these plants will turn a more green look. The RED comes with high light.
NO CO2 so special anything needed BUT LIGHT.
NOTE: We do our best not to ship this with any other pest plants but you might get a piece of Azolla accidentally in with it. LOOK OVER your plants before you put them in your tank.

I purchased multiple plants from Dustin’s but I’m only going to write the one review as I am limited on time. In short the experience was fantastic. I’m a first time customer but won’t hesitate to purchase again. The website was easy to use. I received my plants quickly and they were well packaged. Everything was in good shape and healthy. The plants have been in one of my tanks for 3 days now although I will eventually split them into different tanks but everything still looks great. I couldn’t be happier and have no criticism or complaints. The process and transaction was easy start to finish. There’s no need to write a review for all the other plants I purchased because they would be identical to this review - 5 stars across the board!
Everything else came in fine and with no experience with red root floaters I didn’t realize until after 2 days in quarantine water that the musty smell wasn’t right. They smelled but thought just the travel got to them. After a couple days in fertilized with Dustin’s grow juice they were not getting greener but the opposite. They are dying or dead. I still have them with hopes of coming back but pretty sure they won’t. I really should have contacted Dustin’s but I know so many times things bounce back and all other plants have always been top notch.
Plants were shipped properly and in very good shape.
