Red Tiger Lotus- (Dwarf Aquarium Lily)- EASY RED Aquarium Plant
Red Tiger Lotus are an amazing plant that I really just got into not all that long ago. I love the big red leaves and the unique shape of the plant. As with most red plants, with Red Tiger Lotus, you are going to want to make sure that they have substantial nutrients in their substrate. The better the substrate the better the Red Tiger Lotus will grow. I wouldn't advise trying to keep a Red Tiger Lotus without Dirt or some really substantial root fertilizer.
They say to cut it back so it grows better. I have never personally done this, but it isn't a bad idea for how to care for a red tiger lotus. The Red Tiger Lotus is from west Africa and just looks great as a contrast in you planted aquarium tank. You get so much of an interesting plant with such a great red that I really love this plant.
Red Tiger Lotus is totally a top ten favorite plant of mine.
NOTE: These plants are soo phat that I hand wrap them in wet paper so that they are delivered perfectly to you.
This plant might lose a leaf or two in shipping as they are so thin, but they grow back quickly.

Background, or foreground if you keep trimming it down.

My Tiger Red Lotus from Dustin, bloomed! A great plant!
I ordered two of the bulbs with a one inch leaf. Because of the description and since it was more affordable, I figured I would be getting a just-started bulb. What I got instead was more like two full, albeit smaller, plants with multiple leaves, extremely healthy and with a vibrant color. They were also generous enough to include a free banana plant with my order, which I really appreciated. Highly recommend these and other plants from Dustinsfishtanks!
My Sister tried this plant and highly recommended it. Although you don't really get a plant with this species, more like a bulb with a spout, it doesn't take long to get leaves. It is fun to watch this plant grow and flourish in front of your eyes. I love the color of as to the aquarium
I got 5 of the bulb with leaf. They were really closer to what I thought the small plant would be. Beautiful!
