Red Flame Sword
Red Flame Sword or Echinodorus Red Flame is a great plant. Here's why... Typically plants with red colors in them require a large amount of light and fertilizers to maintain that red. Not so with the Red Flame Swords. I will say that like most Amazon Swords, the Red Flame Sword does like more nutrients in the substrate. If you are running a dirted tank, be prepared for this plant to thrive. If you aren't running a dirted tank, that's ok, but you might consider getting some Red Clay here. Red Flame Swords with Red Clay is a win win. All swords are big root feeders and will reward you if you are root feeding in some fashion. The Red Flame Swords you are getting from me are planted down in the dirt as soon as I get them in. You can be sure that they are well fed and ready to roll in your tank.
