Ludwigia sedioides (Mosaic plant)
This plant is truly THE mosaic plant. Its leaves resemble mosaic tiles where it receives its name.
YOU WILL RECEIVE ONE TO TWO BAREROOT STEMS!
We have had no problem with this plant, even leaving it barerooted, though it receives a solid amount of light. It is a ludwigia, which in our experience, is a generally easy genus of plants to care for.
Perfect plant for pond tanks or ponds in general, but likely will not survive the winter, though our experience hasn't gotten us this far yet! We've been told not to let the pH exceed 9, but we've never had this problem. We've also had them in water at about 50 degrees with no issue, but not for extended periods.
This plant is so beautiful and I cannot wait to see it grow in my tank and move it to a pond later but truly beautiful plant!
These came with a lot of leaves and looking good. I put them in the tanks, and they look great. They've turned up to the light and I think there's already some new leaves!
My plant came in a little on melty side, being that im on the other side of the states, it made sense. I let them know and before i knew it, i was talking to dustin himself straightening it out. Got a replacement, and he helped me bring back the ones i did recieve originally. Overall, fantastic experience, cant wait for all the other plants to come in 🥰
I ordered this plant because of the interesting look and I really dislike duck weed, but have fish that like shaded tanks. I got the plant and thought, let's hope I don't kill this one. The plant is doing fantastic! I am glad I decided to try this plant after seeing it here.
