Anubias Minima ( The Ultimate Beginner Anubias) -BF
Anubias Minima - NEW LARGER PLANTS! Anubias Minima can be kept in most any planted aquarium. Beginners or experts; be ready to add this to your tank. Sand, gravel, dirt, or decorative stones can be used to grow Anubias Minima. Minima can grow in a shade tank with very low lighting or a bright tank with metal halides. Anubias Minima is truly one of the cooler Anubias species. Unlike the more common Nana or Barteri, Anubias Minima has long slender leaves that add outstanding contrast to your aquarium masterpiece. Minima is a great mid ground plant. Generally the leaves can reach 6-8 inches in length once the plant is established and stand 8 inches tall. Like other Anubias, Minima keeps a beautiful green color and is adabtable to a ph varying from 7.0 to as high as 9.0. Anubias Minima can be housed in an aquarium with or without the use of fertilizers. Without iron and co2, anubias grows at a slow rate of around one leaf per month. When you start adding nutrients you need to be careful of algae on the leaves, but at the right balance you can achieve growth of two or more leaves per month. For those of you who want plants but only have old burnt out T-12s, you will be able to keep this plant alive and growing slowly. For others who have crazy high light output you can grow this plant at a faster rate. However, in high light I would recommend placing Minima under larger plants that can provide some shade. I would not put any Anubias in direct high lighting as it is generally a slow grower and the leaves last for years. You do not want algae covering leaves for as long as they are in the tank. (I personally have some species with leaves that are over four years old still without a spec of algae) Anubias Minima is a great plant with slender leaves like a sword, but the durability to handle varying tank types. Act fast if you want to get this plant in your tank! It is not always available and once we are out, we might not be able to get it again....

Really good looking, healthy plants
Plants showed up on time and looked pretty good. There were a co8ple damaged leaves but all in all, very good.
My bigger issue is that I was under the assumption that ciclids would not eat these.... ummm
The plants came in a short time and in good shape... the Anubias Minima is healthy and had a good configuration for gluing to wood... the Java Moss I threw right in one of my tanks for acclimation and the Buce bonus stems are great and well configured for gluing to wood, they are soaking and the wood should sink in a day or two...Thanks, Dustin for more great plants and service...
Beautiful piece of Anubias, great beginners plant almost bulletproof!
